The Author Assist Programme (AAP) pairs emerging authors with experienced mentors to help prepare manuscripts for submission. The programme supports authors who are preparing work for submission to JCMSA and operates independently of the journal’s peer-review process and manuscript management system. Starting in November 2025, AOSIS will begin using CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) authorship contribution statements for all new submissions and acceptances. Published articles reflecting CRediT statements will appear from 2026. Guidance is available under the Author Guidelines: Formatting Requirements, and all contributions should be disclosed in the Authorship, Disclosure Statements, Copyright, and License Agreement Form (Cover Letter) at submission or the Authorship Change Request Form. Following these guidelines ensures transparency, accountability, and integrity in the publication process.
